On Monday, Northwest Rankin’s Londen Ladner signed a national letter of intent to play softball next season at Ole Miss.

Ladner, a senior at Northwest Rankin is a three-time all-state player and the reigning Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year.

The Cougar’s shortsop hit .517 and six homeruns last season. Ladner says Ole Miss has asked her to move from her regular position shortstop to third base when she comes to Oxford next season.
